Oldest major champions

Greg Norman currently leads the 137th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale by one stroke. Should he win on Sunday, the striking Aussie would be the oldest major champion at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 11 days.

The current oldest? The late Julius Boros. He was 48 years, 4 months and 18 days old when he won the 1968 PGA Championship.
