When the doors swung open on Tuesday, it marked the PGA Expo's most extensive showing of top golf brands and industry professionals to participate in recent years. Another PGA Expo began on Monday in beautiful Las Vegas, but this year there is definitely a different vibe. For years, the site of Demo Night was the Callaway Golf Center just down from the famed Las Vegas Strip, but though the location was the same, the name was simply the Las Vegas Golf Center. The significance is that no single manufacturer had a dominant presence, and thus many of them showed up.
The PGA Expo features the most extensive showing of top golf brands and pre-registered industry professionals to participate in the annual industry event in recent years. Thousands of PGA Professionals, golf buyers and industry leaders are expected to attend the PGA Expo to source the newest golf-related merchandise from some 200 vendors; test the latest equipment; learn the most innovative advancements in golf technology; participate in hands-on, high impact teaching and business education programs and network among peers.
Mike Malaska, the 2011 PGA of America Teacher of the Year, Worldwide Director of Jack Nicklaus Golf Academies and PGA Director of Instruction for Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in the Phoenix metropolitan area, is the featured instructor for the Instructional Workshop at PGA Expo Demo Night, sponsored by Orange Whip Trainer, on Monday, Aug. 19.
PGA Professionals, golf buyers and industry leaders attending the 2013 PGA Expo can anticipate numerous opportunities to share best practices and network with colleagues from around the world. Networking programs are becoming an increasingly important aspect of the PGA Expo, where more than 200 top golf brands and companies will showcase the latest equipment, training aids, fashions and accessories.
The 2013 PGA Expo will feature a renewed focus on technology innovations in equipment, teaching aids and golf services with the introduction of the new PGA Expo Technology Symposium and “Tech Talk” demonstrations, plus access to hands-on product testing of the newest technology from leading vendors indoors at the Club Performance Testing Center and outdoors at the annual PGA Expo Demo Night.
The 2013 PGA Expo will host a record number of equipment companies, led by Ping and Callaway, along with all of the best names in golf apparel and accessories, plus a concentration on golf technology products and services among the more than 200 golf-related vendors at the annual industry marketplace.
The PGA’s Fast-Track Leadership Seminar and Certified Professional Program 2.0 top the new additions to an already diverse education conference at the 2013 PGA Expo. The enhanced education schedule provides PGA Professionals and industry leaders with a variety of high-level, national education programs to organize a custom educational calendar while sourcing the latest merchandise among more than 200 golf vendors and networking among peers at the industry’s annual golf marketplace.

TaylorMade Golf Company returns to the PGA Expo for the first time in 15 years to showcase its newly announced SLDR driver and host the PGA Expo Demo Night at its new TaylorMade Golf Experience location. Additionally, TaylorMade is joined by adidas Golf and Ashworth, which have exhibited for the last three years at the PGA Expo.
The PGA Expo, the industry retail springboard for golf equipment, accessories and apparel in the second half of the golf season, returns to The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino. Multiple fashion tradeshows will take place at The Venetian and in Las Vegas during the PGA Expo timeframe, providing synergy to golf industry apparel buyers and manufacturers.
