PGA Golf Club serves as host to six 2012 PGA Winter Championships

The 57th PGA Quarter Century Championship presented by Premier Golf, United Rentals and Hospital for Special Surgery, which opens Jan. 4, at PGA Golf Club, begins a busy schedule of six PGA Winter Championships this month.

This is the debut season of co-presenting sponsor Hospital for Special Surgery, which joins Premier Golf that marks its seventh consecutive season and United Rentals in its second year as a co-presenting sponsor. The PGA Winter Championships also are supported by Jacobsen, Golf Pride, and Dryrainge.

South Florida participants may visit HSS Spine and Sport in Jupiter, and meet professionals in the fields of spine, orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, massage therapy and performance training.

The PGA Winter Championships, which continue through Feb. 12, include the PGA Stroke Play Championship, Jan. 30 – Feb. 2, which marks its 59th season as the oldest winter golf event hosted by The PGA of America.
