Germany's Martin Kaymer, the newly crowned 2010 PGA Champion, paid a visit Tuesday to New York City in the aftermath of his breakthrough victory at the 92nd PGA Championship earlier this month. While in the Big Apple, he stopped in at the NASDAQ and presided over the stock exchange’s Opening Bell Ceremony.
Kaymer is also meeting with the media. The 25-year-old met with Deutsche Welle, Germany's international broadcaster, Bloomberg, Sports Illustrated and ESPN.
With his triumph, Kaymer became his country’s first PGA Champion and second ever to win one of golf's four majors. He also is the third consecutive international player to have won the PGA Championship.
