Started to play golf at the age of six, his brother Ken played in 14 PGA Tour events from 1984-'90 and finished T-2nd at the 1990 Hogan Pensacola Open. . . Is left-handed but plays golf right-handed. . . First qualified for the PGA Tour at the 1992 Q-school, he finished 160th on the money list and lost his card. Regained his card by finishing T-20th in '95 Q-school.
