Was All-American in 1981 & '82 and was PAC-10 player of the year in 1981. . .Played on the U.S. PGA Tour 1986-'90, in 1989 went into the final round of the U.S. Open with a chance to win and shot 74 and finished T-14th. . .Daughter Brooke suffers from a retinal disease (Leber's Amorosis) and is legally blind.
