Eduardo Romero

Player Notes

Eduardo's Argentinian nickname is "El Gato" or "The Cat". . . When he needs help with his game he turns to his club professional father for advice. . . He has won numerous events on the South American Tour, including 14 wins in 1985. A month before his victory in the European Masters in 1994, Romero returned to Argentina to have a painful kidney stone removed. At the end of 1994 he tried for the second time to get his PGA Tour card in America and finished runner-up in the Q-School.
