The most famous Fijian golfer, Singh earned an exemption on the U.S. PGA Tour in the summer of 1993 and is now a member of both the PGA Tour and the European Tour. . . .Originally taught the game by his father, Vijay sharpened his golf in Asia and then Africa before playing on the European tour full time in 1989. Has won titles in Nigeria, Sweden, Malaysia, Singapore, Zimbabwe, Spain, Germany, the Ivory Coast, France and Morocco. . .One of the hardest workers on tour, Singh was hampered with a bad back most of 1994 and parts of '95. . .Of Indian ancestry, his name means "victory" in Hindi . . .Member of 1994, '96, '98 & 2000 Presidents Cup Team.
