- DiMarco and Riley play their way into Ryder Cup — By virtue of their high finishes in the PGA Championship on Sunday, Chris DiMarco and Chris Riley earned spots on the U.S. Ryder Cup team. U.S. Captain Hal Sutton will announce his captain’s choices Monday morning.
- 'No question' PGA will return to Whistling Straits — PGA of America CEO Jim Awtrey said Sunday that he and Whistling Straits owner Herb Kohler Jr. are in talks to bring the PGA Championship back to the links-style course, adding that "someday there will be a Ryder Cup here."
- Sullivan lowest club professional at PGA since 1969 — PGA Head Professional Chip Sullivan gave his dying sister a lasting image at the 86th PGA Championship. He not only fulfilled her wish to make the cut, but his 287 final score was the first under-par finish by a club professional in 35 years.
- PGA of America adjusts Sunday yardages at Whistling Straits — The field will face a slightly longer Whistling Straits on Sunday for the final round of the 86th PGA Championship. The PGA of America has lengthened four holes and shortened one other.
