Player Notes

Became the first left-hander since 1975 to win on The European Tour after landing the 1997 Dubai Desert Classic in a playoff with Ian Woosnam and Greg Norman, a victory which helped him finish 34th on the Order of Merit, his highest finish until 2004, when his remarkably consistency lifted him into the top 20 first the first time in 17th position. Learned the game at Huntingdale, Melbourne. Attended the Victoria Institute of Sport and still works with renowned coach Dale Lynch. Represented Australia in the 1998 World Cup along with Peter O'Malley. Has a passion for motor sports and purchased a V8 Touring Car in 2001 with ambition to race in competition.
