Started playing golf at age 10, he loves listening to music. . .Hur Suk-ho claimed his first title on the Asian PGA Tour by winning the Shinhan Donghae Open on home soil in September, 2002. He led from the opening round, thanks to a brilliant albatross, but needed a two-hole play-off to beat Simon Yates. It marked a brilliant year for the Korean as he had also won on the Japan Golf Tour in July, the first from his country to do so since 1999. In 2001 Ho played on the Japan secondary tour and finished top on the merit list to earn his card on the main circuit. . .Ho joined the Japan Golf Tour in 2002, as a rookie he won Juken Hiroshima Open. . . .Played 2002 WGC World Cup for Korea with KJ Choi in Mexico. They finished T3rd, six back of winners Japan.
