Player Notes

Furyk possesses one of the most distinctive and recognizable swings on the PGA Tour, a swing that he describes as natural and athletic. His only teacher has been his father, Mike, who started Jim putting cross-handed at age seven, on the advice of Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. Furyk is considered to be one of the best putters on Tour. Member of the 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2004 Ryder Cup Teams. Member of the 1998, 2000, 2003 & 2005 Presidents Cup Teams . Set PGA Tour record for most money earned without a victory with $1.6 million in 1997. Since then, the total was raised to $3.562,548 million by Chris Di Marco in 2005.
