Five years before he joined the PGA Tour was delivering pizza for Pizza Hut five nights a week. Ranked fifth in state of Nevada as high school tennis player in 1990. Won 1990 Nevada State High School championship. 1992 Southern Nevada golf associates championship. Runner-up in 1994 Southern Nevada Amateur & Las Vegas city Amateur. His whole career has been marred with injuries, having hip and shoulder surgery in 2001 and bothered with hip and wrist injuries in 2004.
