Turned professional prior to graduating from high school. Had been to Q-School every year since 1999. Spent time on the Cleveland Pro Tour and the Gateway Tour. Rookie on the 2005 PGA Tour after making it through all three stages of the 2004 Qualifying Tournament, including the final stage in his first attempt. Before 2005 never played on the PGA Tour and in 18 career Nationwide Tour events made just four cuts. Best finish was T28th at the 2004 First Tee Arkansas Classic.
