Player Notes

When Brett was 2, his father, Mickey, put a golf club in his hand and he just wouldn't let go of it. Played Junior golf and got a scholarship to play at Wallace State in Alabama. After he finished school turned pro in 1994 and went directly to the Gold Coast Tour. Tried three time to get through PGA Qualifying school but always failed by a stroke or two to reach final stage. In 1999 he broke that string making it all the way to the finals and par the last hole to get his tour card on the number. Unfortunately, injured his wrist in his rookie year in 200, had to undergo wrist surgery in January of 2001 and spent most of the year rehabbing injury. *Member of the 2006 Ryder Cup team.
