Corporate hospitality approaching sellout at Oakland Hills
Time is running out for corporations to secure the ultimate viewing experience for a major championship. Only a limited numbers of hospitality opportunities remain for the 2008 PGA Championship, with 90 percent of all inventory already sold, officials said.
Jones' renovations result in more menacing 'Monster'
Thanks to Rees Jones' recently completed work at Oakland Hills Country Club, the field for the 90th PGA Championship will face a South Course that has been lengthened by 346 yards and now features narrower fairways and more-penal bunkers.
Oakland Hills membership approves remodeling plan
The membership at Oakland Hills Country Club has approved a plan to remodel the club's South Course, with famed architect Rees Jones (left) being retained to modify the layout in preparation of the 90th PGA Championship in 2008.
