Tickets for the 2008 PGA Championship to be held at historic Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, MI are now on sale! Several ticket options are available, get your requests in while you still can!

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The PGA Championship and its historic Wanamaker Trophy will return to Oakland Hills Country Club's world-renowned South Course in Bloomfield Township, Michigan for the 90th PGA Championship, August 4-10, 2008. Tickets for this Major Championship, featuring 156 of the world's greatest golfers, go on sale today, Monday, July 23, 2007.

The 2008 PGA Championship ticket prices range from $30 for a daily Practice Round Ticket to $700 for a coveted Executive Club Ticket. The Executive Club Ticket allows access to all seven days of the Championship and admission to the Executive Club located on the signature 16th hole of the South Course. Other packages include the Season Grounds Ticket for $350 that allows access to the grounds for the entire week of the Championship and the daily Practice Round Ticket for $30 that allows its holder access for one practice round day.



All tickets and packages may be reserved and purchased by going to the official 2008 PGA Championship website at www.PGA2008.com or by calling the PGA Ticketing Center at 1-800-PGA-GOLF (742-4653). Tickets for the 90th PGA Championship will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis to a limited number of spectators.

Since 1916, golf's best professionals have been competing for the PGA Championship's Wanamaker Trophy. Past Champions include: 2006 PGA Champion Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Davis Love III, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead and Walter Hagen. The 90th PGA Championship will be the third PGA Championship hosted by Oakland Hills. Oakland Hills also hosted the PGA Championship in 1972 and 1979, and most recently hosted the 35th Ryder Cup in 2004.

The PGA Championship is one of four premier golf events conducted by The PGA of America. Others include the Ryder Cup Matches, the Senior PGA Championship and the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, which brings together winners of golf's four Major Championships.
