Continued to progress on The European Tour, once again improving his Order of Merit position from 97th in his Rookie Year in 2005, to 71st in 2006 and 30th in 2007. Almost claimed his maiden European Tour title on two occasions in 2007, losing in a play-off to Anton Haig for the Johnnie Walker Classic in March and finishing second behind Andres Romero in the Deutsche Bank Players' Championship of Europe in July. Spin-off from the performances was a debut in the winning Great Britain and Ireland Seve Trophy team in September where he won twice in the company of fellow Englishman Simon Dyson. A Member of the victorious Great Britain and Ireland Walker Cup team in 2003, he had an outstanding season in his first year as a professional, missing just six cuts out of 23 and putting together eight Top-10 finishes to take the 15th and final card winning place on the Challenge Tour Rankings to step up to The European Tour. Lives in Georgia, USA, after a successful college career in the United States.
