KOHLER, Wis. -- Wanamaker Club Ticket holders can elevate their experience at the 92nd PGA Championship, held August 9-15 at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis. With a Wanamaker Club Ticket, a seven-day pass to the Championship, fans can enjoy a premium experience, including onsite parking immediately adjacent to the newly designed PGA Town Center, a complimentary copy of the official 92nd PGA Championship Program and access to the Wanamaker Club, located in the heart of the PGA Town Center. The Wanamaker Club is the only air-conditioned pavilion with HDTV's throughout, an intimate outdoor patio and Wisconsin-themed food and beverage available for purchase.
Additionally, Wanamaker Club Ticket holders will be steps away from the new fan experiences that are part of the PGA Town Center. Leading patrons such as American Express, Mercedes-Benz and RBC will provide activities in the PGA Learning Center, the PGA Fan Experience and the PGA Performance Center. Among the many activities, fans can receive free golf lessons, golf swing analysis, design their own golf bags and get a photo with the coveted Wanamaker Trophy.
"The Wanamaker Club Ticket offers the best-of-the-best for fans and it is our most valuable ticket due to its nearby premium parking and its exclusive experience," says Barry Deach, Championship Director. "What better way to take a break from the course than in an air-conditioned pavilion with a spirited atmosphere and delicious food and beverage options. The flat screen HDTV's around the pavilion ensure you won't miss a minute of the on-course action."
Now through July 31, fans who purchase a Wanamaker Club Ticket will be able to "stay & play" where the pros do by receiving a $100 Destination Kohler gift card. The gift card, redeemable Oct. 1, 2010, through May 15, 2011, can be used for payment of greens fees at Whistling Straits or Blackwolf Run. Additionally, the gift card can be used for payment of guestroom accommodations at The American Club, the only AAA Five-Diamond resort-hotel in the Midwest, or at Inn on Woodlake, a select service hotel overlooking an 11-acre spring-fed lake with a private beach and putting green.
Wanamaker Club Tickets start at $450 and are available at www.pga2010.com or by calling (800) PGA-GOLF.
