He gained qualification for 2011 The Open Championship by finishing 2nd at the IFQ in Asia.
Starting to play golf at age 10, he started playing golf under his father’s influence. He turned professional in 1994. In April 2004 he lost his beloved father; however, he showed his stability and posted 7 top-10s in 2005. He proved his competence by winning multiple tournaments in highly competitive Asian Tour.
