No. 17
223 yards, Par 3
The Sunday tee shot on this 223 yard par-3 may very well decide who will hoist the Wanamaker trophy and be crowned the 94th PGA Champion. The target appears narrow, and is fiercely guarded by water short and to the right, with two deep waste areas to the left. Players that play this hole even par for the championship will certainly be rewarded and keep themselves in contention. The seventeenth provides yet another prime spectator viewing area with the tenth and eighteenth in close proximity.
