LOUISVILLE, KY - Before he makes a run at winning the Wanamaker Trophy in Louisville once again this August, Jason Dufner will take in the Run for the Roses in May.

It's one of several trips the 2013 PGA Champion will make to the River City leading up to the 96th PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, Aug. 4-10, 2014.

"I'm excited to experience Louisville at its best for two world-class sporting events," said Dufner, who will be joined at the 140th Kentucky Derby by his wife, Amanda. The couple will walk the Red Carpet on Derby Day at historic Churchill Downs and also attend the star-studded Barnstable-Brown Party on Derby Eve.  This is the couple's first time to attend the Derby.

Dufner also plans to make a second trip to Louisville on June 18 for his official PGA Championship Media Day.  His day of activities is scheduled to include the first-ever golf shot from one of Churchill Downs' elevated skybox terraces to a special target alongside the famous racetrack.
