Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington paired together at PGA Championship
Two players trying to strengthen their Ryder Cup resumes -- Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson -- will pair up with Padraig Harrington in the first two rounds of the PGA Championship at Valhalla, beginning next Thursday.
Woods, Mickelson and Harrington are scheduled to tee off from the No. 10 tee at 8:35 a.m. ET.
Defending champion Jason Dufner is paired with Keegan Bradley and Y.E. Yang. They'll go off from the first tee Thursday at 1:55 p.m. ET. Rory McIlroy, Martin Kaymer and Bubba Watson, winners of this year's three majors, will play in one group Thursday and Friday, starting at 1:45 p.m. ET.
Miguel Angel Jimenez is paired with Charl Schwartzel and Jim Furyk. They'll be followed on the course by Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthuizen and Justin Rose.
Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson may get a preview of this fall's match play when he plays with Steve Stricker and Sergio Garcia. That group is followed by Kenny Perry, Ryan Moore and Henrik Stenson.
