The PGA of America and Bon Appetit hit the links with "Champions of the Course" partnership

NEW YORK – The PGA of America and Bon Appétit are teaming up to help take your game to the next level – in the kitchen and on the green. The “Champions of the Course” program offers expert golf tips and techniques from top PGA Professionals and cooking inspiration from world-class chefs culminating in a VIP event at the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin.

“Champions of the Course” connects passionate golfers and food lovers on all levels, whether it’s winning an elusive PGA Championship or your local club tournament, a Michelin Star or accolades at a dinner party. Leading up to the PGA Championship, Aug. 10-16, Bon Appétit and the PGA will collaborate on custom magazine content offering culinary tips and golf course advice from some of the country’s leading chefs and PGA Professionals.

In the May issue of Bon Appétit, featured chefs – Amanda Freitag, John Besh, Mike Lata, Michael Chernow and Daniel Holtzman – share their original recipes and ideas inspired by the signature holes of Whistling Straits accompanied by expert instruction from PGA Professionals.

Culminating on Aug. 12, the partnership comes to life as Bon Appétit Editor in Chief Adam Rapoport and PGA of America President Derek Sprague will host a golf-inspired Champions of the Course VIP event featuring A-list celebrity chef talent along with local Kohler chefs.
