Updated spectator information for the 2016 PGA Championship

SPRINGFIELD, N.J. -- With severe weather and heavy rains forcing the suspension of third round play at 2:14 p.m. today after nearly seven hours of golf, the PGA of America announced the following spectator information for the resumption of play on Sunday:

* Gates Open at 6:30 a.m. The third round of the 98th PGA Championship will resume at 7 a.m. Sunday with gates opening at 6:30 a.m. Players who completed third-round play Saturday will begin final round play at 8:40 a.m.

* Updated Parking Information: Parking Lots C and Q will remain closed, as was the case Saturday. Lot C will be diverted to Kean University, located at 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ. Complimentary shuttle service between Kean University and the temporary Lot C bus terminal will begin at 6:30 a.m. Spectators MUST have a Lot C hangtag in order to use this parking and shuttle option.

Lot Q will be diverted to Connell Corporate Park located at 400 Connell Drive, Berkeley Heights, NJ. Complimentary shuttle service between Connell Corporate Park and the Lot Q bus terminal will begin at 5 a.m. Spectators MUST have a Lot Q hangtag in order to use this parking and shuttle option.

Travel time to the Championship from both locations is a 25-minute shuttle ride to Baltusrol Golf Club. All other parking and transportation options for the 2016 PGA Championship will be business as usual on Sunday.

* Saturday Ticketholder Information: Due to safety considerations, parking capacity and operational limitations on the course, tickets from Saturday may not be used for admittance on Sunday.

While every effort will be made to finish the Championship on Sunday, in the event play is extended to Monday, tickets from Saturday will be honored for “grounds” access.
