Par 3
The final par 3 is both blessed and cursed by an excess of water. Inlets of Lake Oconee cause trouble for tee shots hit short or long, as the green lies on a natural peninsula. The water must be carried from the back tees, but those playing the more forward sets will have an easier time. Added beauty comes from the bridge players must walk across to leave the back tee, as well as the mule grass that turns purple in autumn.
