Watch the 2016 Drive, Chip and Putt Championship this Weekend

Tune in to Golf Channel this Sunday, April 3 at 9:00 am E.T. to watch the 2016 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship. The National Finals are the culmination of over a years-worth of unprecedented collaboration between the Masters Tournament, the United States Golf Association and the PGA of America and its 28,000 members and apprentices.

The Drive, Chip & Putt Championship is a free nationwide youth golf development initiative open to boys and girls ages 7-15, of all abilities, competing in separate divisions in four age categories. The competition focuses on the three fundamental skills employed in golf and taps the creative and competitive spirit of participants. The Drive, Chip and Putt Championship provides aspiring junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country.

For the 2016 National Finals, PGA members and their facilities hosted local, sub-regional and regional qualifying over the past year to narrow the participants down to 80 finalists, vying for their respective division titles at Augusta National Golf Club. In total, thousands upon thousands of youth participated in qualifiers spanning all 50 states and 41 PGA Sections.

You can register today for the 2017 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship qualifiers, which take place May through August of 2016. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals.
