PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – High Definition Golf (HD Golf) has been named the presenting sponsor of the 2013 PGA Jones Cup, the national championship for the 19 PGA Golf Management Universities nationwide, at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Nov. 5-6. High Definition Golf is one of the most accurate and realistic golf simulators available today. Designed and manufactured by Interactive Sports Technologies Inc., the system utilizes advanced stereoscopic computer vision technology to provide the industry’s most comprehensive and precise shot analysis. HD Golf will showcase a golf simulator onsite at PGA Golf Club for the duration of the Championship for PGA Golf Management University students to experience.
“High Definition Golf is an expert in golf simulation and a great supporter of both current and future PGA Professionals,” said PGA President Ted Bishop. “We are delighted they will serve as the presenting sponsor of the 12th PGA Jones Cup presented by High Definition Golf. The system is used by PGA Tour players Jason Bohn, Kevin Streelman and Carl Pettersson; award-winning PGA Professional instructors Hank Haney and Jim McLean, and numerous training centers, club fitters and golf retail stores.
“Our company is very proud to become a sponsor of the PGA Jones Cup,” says Todd Richardson, president and CEO of Interactive Sports Technologies. “It’s a great way to support the many colleges and universities that are using High Definition Golf simulators to expand their training capabilities. As well, we are pleased to continue our partnership with The PGA of America in exploring ways to use technology in growing the game of golf.”
