Having graduated from the University of Rhode Island 11 years ago (wow, was it that long already?), I have a special place in my heart for all things Rhody Rams.
That's why it brought me great delight when I saw this tweet from Rhody head men's golf coach Gregg Burke this afternoon:
Naturally, I was intrigued, so I clicked the link, which features Rhody golfers Seamus Fennelly, Billy Walthouse, Andrew Fiorenzano, Mat Goldman, Derick Paxton, Eric Marchetti, Jared Adams, Andrew Wester, Nick Fairweather and Joe Leavitt.
It's not quite as outlandish as the original 'Golf Boys' video featuring PGA Tour stars Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan, but it's worth a couple of minutes of your time to watch this funny remix. And, don't get me wrong, there are some crazy outfits in the video, including one player dressed in what looks like a sweatshirt with tiger stripes and a fur cap, reminiscent of the one worn by Scut Farkus in, "A Christmas Story."
With that, I double-dog dare you not to laugh at the video:
I especially enjoyed the golf choreography (is that even a thing?), with the synchronized golf shots, over-the-top reactions and of course, the juggling tricks.
Well done, Rams. Well done.
