A Certified PGA Professional, who is currently completing his 7th certification, the newly created Player Development Certification. Andy began his career in the golf industry in 2008 following a career as a High School Teacher and Coach. He has a Bachelors Degree in Education and Master's Degree in Instructional Design from Syracuse University. Andy enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program while working as Assistant Golf Professional at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Andy completed all levels of the Professional Golf Management Program, passed the Player's Ability Test and was elected a Class A PGA Member within 17 months, one of the quickest ever. Andy's philosophy on teaching is the natural swing. He teaches a simple, repeatable, balanced swing, that focuses on using the big muscles in your body to generate maximum clubhead speed with minimum inconsistencies. Without over-swinging you’ll enjoy repeated good contact time and time again. Andy has taught players of all skill levels and ages, from juniors to fellow PGA Professionals. Andy also has extensive experience in all levels/areas of the total golf operation. He has been responsible for all tournament operations at Turning Stone Resort (10,000+ rounds and over $1,000,000 in revenue annually) as well as the golf shop operations at Shenendoah that was recently awarded the prestigious AGM Top 100 golf shops designation for 2012.
Andy is the co-founder and a managing partner in Kless Myers Golf Management, LLC and together with PGA Professional Philip Kless recently took over the total golf operations at the Lyndon Golf Course in Fayetteville, NY.
