Bernie R. Quinn, PGA

Bernie was introduced to golf at age 1 by his parents Bernard and Mary at Ontario Golf Club outside of Rochester, NY. His mentor is the Director of Golf at Ontario Golf Club Jim Hungerford, PGA. Grew up through Ontario's junior golf program taught by WNYPGA section champions Rob Horak and Paul Sanders.  Lettered in basketball and golf at Bishop Kearney H.S. helping to lead the golf team to 2 City Catholic Titles in the 3 years played on the team. Worked at Webster Driving Range and at Oak Hill C.C. on the grounds crew during the 1989 US Open. Graduated from Cortland State University with a Sport Management Degree and a coaching certification in 1993. Elected to PGA membership in 2001 when he was 1st Assistant Golf Profesional at The Tournament Players Club at River Highlands (Host of The Greater Hartford Open). Passionate clubfitter and teacher. He has had the honor of being taught by Patty Berg, Mickey Gallagher, and currently J.C. Snead and has attended a multitude of clinics held by Jack Nicklaus, Gary Wiren, Craig Harmon, Wayne DeFrancesco, Joey Sindelar, Jeff Sluman, John Daly, Dennis Walters to name a few. Certified clubfitter for Titleist, Mizuno, Callaway, and PING. Worked for many PGA Members: at Stafford C.C. (Jon V. Lynn, PGA), Quail Ridge C.C.(Charlie Bowie, PGA), Blue Heron Hills C.C.(Chuck Salitan, PGA), Gulfstream G.C. (Mark Mielbrecht, PGA, Joe Regner, PGA) Webster G.C. (Tom, Debby, and Brendan Murphy, PGA), PGA National (Jane Broderick, PGA, John Gardner, PGA), TPC @ River Highlands (Ben Moore, PGA, Bill Whaley, PGA), Clinton C.C. (Bill Mackedon, PGA).

I have 5 years of Head Golf Professional experience and I am 40 years of age, having spent the last 18 years teaching and promoting the game I love. I have had the good fortune to win the Bartlet Country Club Team Pro Am and Lawrence Park Team Pro Am in the WNYPGA section. I have 4 career hole in ones, with the past 2 aces coming in competit
