Brandon is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee with over 15 years experience as a golf professional and instructor. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, graduating with a degree in Plant Sciences before obtaining his membership in the PGA of America. After ten years teaching as a club professional in Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisiana, he turned his sights to full-time teaching in 2007 and moved to Miami, Florida to work with the Jim McLean Golf School at Doral Golf Resort and Spa.
Now a PGA "Certified" Professional in instruction, Brandon has studied under some of game’s best known instructors including Jim McLean, Dr. Robert Neal, Travis Fulton, Christopher Toulson, and Bobby Cole. In addition, Brandon also has extensive experience in the field of golf biodynamics and fitness and is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute in both areas. Currently his students include several local PGA Professionals, multiple State Amateur champions and a number of elite college and high school players from across the country.
In addition to being the owner/operator of Stooksbury Golf, Brandon is also the Director of Instruction at the prestigious Idle Hour Club in Macon, GA. Ranked in Golf Digest’s "Best In State" instructor rankings for Nevada and honored as the 2011 Southern NV PGA "Teacher of the Year," Brandon specializes in competitive player development and enjoys teaching players of all levels, from beginner to the PGA Tour.
