Bret was introduced to game of golf when he 5 years old, and began playing on his grandfathers golf course. He played all sports growing up, however golf was where his talent and passion rested. He had an outstanding high school record, ranking him 8th in the state of MI by his senior year. Bret had many division 1 college recruitment offers, but he decided to play college golf at Ferris State University and to attend the #1 Professional Golf Management Program in the country. Bret graduated on the National Dean's Lists and become a Class "A" PGA Member that same year in 2006. Over the past 6 years Bret has been a teaching professional at Carl's Golfland, Royal Oak Golf Center, various clubs in Florida, and has now joined Fox Hills Instructional team in Plymouth, MI. Bret has stayed very active in tournament play both on professional mini-tours in FL, AZ, MI and NC and in the PGA Michigan Section. Including his recent playing accomplishment of qualifying to the PGA National Championship this June in Seaside, CA. Bret has been mentored by some of best Teaching Professionals in country like Dave Pelz, David Leadbetter, Tom Stickney, Dick Bury, Steve Brady,and Rick Smith to name a few. Bret's focus is to offer the best and lastest instructional aids, technologies and knowledge of the game so his students can improve at the fastest rate possible.
