With years as a Flight Attendant over, learned to play golf in New Orleans. After winning 23 tournaments in an amateur career, turned club professional in 1983, mainly to teach. Was elected to PGA membership in l991 and spent six years as a Head Golf Professional. Became a Teaching Professional in l996 and have been at the same facility a total of 24 years. Taught in Germany for five months, several years ago. At the present facility, semi-private on an island in Florida, the variety of clintele is international in flavor which is enjoyed and enhances the teaching challenge due to the fact that the students come in all levels of ability and age. Have earned the respect and admiration of students from many cities, states and countries. For the past fourteen years for four months each summer, I am employed by the The Kirtland CountryClub outside Cleveland, Ohio. This club is very exclusive, memmbership by invitation only, with no tee times and an extensive caddy program. I teach a very high powered, blue blooded membership and this wonderful experience has only enhanced my teachiing skills. I am invited to return to this club for as many years as I wish to return. The first PGA professional ever to be awarded this opportunity.
