Jason graduated from the PGM program at Ferris State University in 1993. He has worked in golf at golf clubs and academies in Westchester, New York, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Northwest Arkansas. With a committment to helping golfers find the game of golf as a competitive outlet, an educational vehicle and a business tool, Jason continues to lead Northwest Arkansas' golf development scene. Published regularly in multiple regional magazines, he brings golf and its endless virtues visibility in a small town dominated by big business. Former students include several Gateway Tour players, two Big Break contestants, and three exceptional players with Nationwide and PGA Tour experience. Current students include local high school and college standouts, outstanding young juniors, and a National Long Drive Finalist; Since joining Back Nine Golf Academy as Director of Golf in February, 2009, he and his assistant Philip Walker have helped over 25 local players break 80 for the first time. With an emphasis on scoring, as well as helping players understand cause and effect as it relates to ball flight and their individual golf swings, Jason is poised to continue improving the golf scene in Northwest Arkansas for years to come.
