Jeff Rupert has been in the golf business since 1979. First served as the Assistant Golf Professional at Clinton Country Club, a private facility in Lock Haven, Pa. After two years in that capacity he was hired as the Head Golf Professional/General Manager for a three year period. During those years, also served as the Head Golf Coach at Lock Haven University. Then moved on to be the Head Golf Professional at Belles Springs Golf Course, a public facility, in Mackeyville, Pa. After three years, moved to New York City and was a member of the teaching staff at the Richard Metz Golf Studio. During a three year stint there, was part of the teaching staff for the movie "Caddyshack". Jeff then returned to a club position as the Head Golf Professional/General Manager at the Port Jervis Country Club, a private facility in Port Jervis, NY. The original golf course was a A.W. Tillinghast design with some modifications in the 1950's. After six years at Port Jervis, took a position at the Tyoga Country Club in Wellsboro, Pa. As the Head Golf Professional at this semi-private facility he provided services to the membership and approximately 20,000 rounds per year of golf package patrons. Also owned and operated an off-course golf specialty shop in town. After six years at this position he then moved on as the Director of Teaching at the Hickory Tree Golf Range in Wellsboro, Pa. for three years and then moved on to his present position as Golf Professional at Dick's Sporting Goods in Elmira, NY. Also served as the Head Golf Coach at Wellsboro High School and as the Head Wrestling Coach at the same school.
