John became a PGA member in 1983. He graduated with an Accounting degree from the University of Arizona, where he played on the golf team. John has played in 5 Professional National Championship. John has owned an operated two golf shops. He has been awarded the Bill Strausbaugh Award for the Michigan Section in 2008 and the Golf Professional of the Year for the Michigan Section in 2009. John is currently the Vice President of the Michigan PGA.
