Martha grew up in Carmel, IN where she was an Indiana Junior Golf Champion, and a three-time Indiana State High School Champion. As a collegiate athlete at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX, Martha received All-American honors. She finished second in the NCAA Women's National Championship Tournament, and participated as an amateur in the LPGA Mayflower Classic, Indianapolis, IN, finishing in a tie for seventh place. Under the tutelage of SMU Coach, Earl Stewart, Jr., Martha realized the dream of competing on the LPGA Tour from 1987-1995.

Martha was an Assistant Golf Professional at the Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort, Dorado, PR. She furthered her experience at Cincinnati Country Club, Cincinnati, OH, and Lexington Country Club, Lexington, KY. In 2009 Martha became the PGA Head Professional at Innsbrook Golf Club, Merry Hill, NC, an Arnold Palmer Signature Design Course.

Martha became the General Manager/PGA Head Professional at Connemara in September, 2010. She has extensive experience in tournament operations, golf management and customer relations.
