A head golf professional in Akron Ohio at a private club for 14 years. Moved to Georgia in 1989 to help bring 63 holes of golf out of the ground at Chateau Elan and get them operational, serving as the director of golf until 1998. In 1998 left for a nearby opportunity and was recruited to bring another golf course (27 holes) out of the ground, get it operational and then served as the director of golf until August 2004. In September 2004 left The Georgia Club and returned to Chateau Elan in a new capacity, now serving as the V.P. of Operations (G.M.) for the Legends and Private membership club. During the last 4 years was put in charge of building a new 12,000 sq. ft. sports club, installed a water slide, kid's splash and play area, expanded the pool deck, hired fitness instructor and established programs for fitness and activities for both adults and children. In the last 4 years we have added more than 300 members to the club and established programs and activities that were not available to the members prior to my return. Also have experience with a PGA Tour event serving as the Director of Golf during the Sarazen World Open Championship from 1994-1997, which was held at the Legends Course. Experience in all areas of budgeting and managing the budgets. Currently manage the Head Golf Professional, the F&B Director, the Golf Course Superintendent and the Fitness Director. Experience bringing golf courses out of the ground and getting them operational. Have done this for several courses. Have excellent management skills and experience, work well with the community (served as Board of Directors Chairman for a local Chamber of Commerce) and have organized and overseen thousands of charity and corporate golf tournament. Also in charge of guest cottages and am not afraid to break out the tool box and fix things so save the company money.
