Prior to accepting the Head Golf Professional position at Forest Dunes Miles was Director of Golf at Garland Lodge and Resort along with previous positions as Head Professional at Turning Stone Resort and Casino (home of the Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge and previous home of the PGA Tour's Turning Stone Resort Championship) and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort (former home of the PGA Tour's 84 Lumber Classic). He has a degree in Professional Golf Management and a minor in Business from Penn State University. He received his Class-A PGA membership in March 2005 and became the second youngest PGA Master Professional ever in 2011. While working towards his PGA membership Miles worked at The Pete Dye Golf Club, Grayhawk Golf Club, Pinehurst Resort and Country Club, and tournament week at the PGA Tour's Verizon Heritage event at Harbour Town Golf Links. Miles thoroughly enjoys teaching and his tips have been featured in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review and Utica Observer Dispatch.
