Robert T. Short, PGA

A native of Northeast Ohio, Bob earned his PGA experience as a First Assistant at both Brookledge Golf Club in Cuyahoga Falls and Gleneagles Golf Club in Twinsburg. In 1997 Bob earned his PGA certification and became a full-time teaching professional,sharpening his skills while working with students at Hickory Sticks Driving Range in Copley. Bob joined the teaching staff at The Range at Boston Hills in 2001. Accepting a new challenge in 2004, Bob became the coach of the Hudson Girls Junior Varsity golf team. In charge of new player development, he led eight freshmen to a record setting 26-1 in their first two years. In 2008 Bob moved into the next phase of his teaching career, bringing the PGA of America and his students to 2 Club Golf & Learning Center. Additionally, during the off-season, he has gained professional experience with his work at PGA West in La Quinta, California, including assisting in tournament preparation of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
