Scott has been at the Purple Sage Golf Course since 1981. He was the Assistant Pro from 1981 to 1995. In 1996 he became the Head Professional. In 2002 he acquired his PGA membership. In 2008 he was awarded the Utah Section PGA Junior Leader Award.
