My name is Scott Lambert, I am 23 years old and I was born and raised in Newcastle, England. My parents are Steven & Dawn Lambert. I also have an older brother called Craig who is 27 years old. At the age of 16, I was elected captain of the North of England Golf Team, and also apart of the England under 18 training squad. At the age of 18, I decided to pursue a golf scholarship in America. I committed to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Throughout my college career, I played in a total of 83 competitive rounds and collected a scoring average of 74.8, with 4 top five finishes, 6 top 10 finishes and 17 finishes within the top 20. My junior year we finished 2nd at our Conference Championship and I was awarded Cleveland Golf/Srixon Academic All-American Scholar and 2nd Team All-Conference. My senior year we won the Peach Belt Conference Championship, came 4th at the Regional Tournament and advanced to the National Championships in Louisville, KY for the first time in school history, where we finished in 10th place. Also during that year, we became nationally ranked as 4th in the Country. At the end of the year I received the Cleveland Golf/Srixon Academic All-American Scholar Award for a second time as well as 1st Team All-American. I graduated UNC-Pembroke with honors within 4 years, and accepted the Assistant Golf Professional Job at The Country Club of Asheville. Since June 2012, I have completed the PAT test with scores of 74 69 and passed the Pre Qualifying Test, now allowing me to access the Level 1 courses and be a fully registered apprentice.
