Steve turned professional in 1988 then got his first Assistant Professional position at the Burlington CC in Burlington, Vermont. He spent ten seasons there and also achieved his PGA Class A Membership in 1996. During the winter months, he travelled to Florida and worked as a Teaching Professional at Hunters Run Golf and Racquet Club in Boynton Beach. He worked there for 13 seasons. In 1998, Steve became Head Golf Professional at Tater Hill Golf Club in Londenderry, Vermont. In 1999, he moved to Vergennes, Vermont and became Head Golf Professional at Basin Harbor Club, where he was there for 7 seasons. In 2003, he became Head Golf Professional at The Club at Admiral's Cove in Jupiter, Florida, where he was there for 5 seasons. In 2006, he became Director of Golf at The Links at Lang Farm in Essex, Vermont, where he is today. Steve has been a member of the Vermont PGA Chapter in the New England Section since 1988.
Owns Gonzos Indoor Golf in South Burlington, VT since 2007.
