Timothy A Wahlin

This will be Drew Wahlin's Teaching Professional, fourth season in the professional golf business and his second season on the Shadow Valley Golf Improvement Centers staff. He brings his cognitive psychology academic background and years of university teaching to his lesson curriculum. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain PGA Section. He is committed to fitness and wellness for a life time approach to life and golf. Besides golf, his fitness passions are weight training, elevation hiking, mountain biking, upland bird hunting and fly-fishing. Drew has worked for the past 35 years with publicly traded companies and closely held corporations in finance and marketing. He has been president/CEO of several businesses and was a vice president of a major publicly traded multinational company. Drew has held university faculty positions at three universities, teaching in the areas of accounting, sales and marketing. Drew has served on the boards of publicly held companies, worked on Wall Street with investment bankers, commercial banks, Venture Capitalist, and national accounting and law firms. For several years he wrote a weekly business book review column for the Idaho Statesman newspaper. He was one of the founding members of the Intermountain Venture Capital Forum. Drew was awarded the Kennedy Presidential Fitness Award in high school and was a four-year letterman, he was the Arizona State Yoyo Champion, and was a world known professional freestyle snow skier. He holds a private pilot license, is a Certified Deepwater SCUBA Diver, and is a Registered Investment Advisor. Drew received his Honors B.A. at the University of California and his M.B.A.(Ellery Capen Scholar) from the University of Puget Sound. He is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed, not practicing).
