A native of Lexington KY, Vince joined the United States Marines shortly after high school and served 6 years Combat Infantry. After ending his active duty service in 1993, he returned to Lexington and was instrumental in opening the city's first Golds Gym. As a personal trainer, general manager and later a health club owner, Vince developed a passion for working with the public. Having grown up competing in baseball, Vince took up playing golf in 1996.
In 2012 after years of playing amature golf , Vince decided to turn professional and pursue golf instruction. Vince's dedication to studying the teaching philosophy's of the best Golf Instructors in the world is serving as a great foundation towards the goal of becoming the best coach possible and implementing and sharing the knowledge he's acquired with his students.
In 2013 Vincent became a certified golf instuctor with Lynn Blake Golf. His teaching philosophy is structured around the works of Homer Kelly, author of "The Golfing Machine", and relies on science, simple geometry and everyday physics to enhance skills, diagnose and improve each student's unique golf stroke.
