The Senior PGA Championship welcomes junior spectators (17 years of age and younger) and will admit them free of charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Junior Tickets may be picked up at the admissions trailer (located at the Championship Main Gate) on the day of entry. Limit four (4) Junior Tickets per one (1) ticketed adult.
Commemorative journals, the official publication of the Championship, are available for purchase at all Admission Gates and Golf Shop (while supplies last.) Journals are $5.00, with $1.00 of each sale going to the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship fund.
Cameras are ONLY allowed at Aronimink Golf Club for the practice rounds, Monday, June 2 through Wednesday, June 4, 2002. Cameras are NOT permitted at Aronimink Golf Club during Championship play, Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8, 2002.
For the players' consideration, a NO AUTOGRAPH POLICY is enforced on the golf course during championship rounds, Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8, 2002.
Concession and Beverage Stands will be located just inside the Main Gate, near the 18th tee, behind the 16th green, near the 12th green, near the 3rd tee and near the Practice Range. NOTE: Cash must be used at all concession and beverage stands. An ATM is located inside the Golf Shop at the Main Gate.
Public telephones are located at the Main Gate, near the Clubhouse and 16 green.
In June, temperatures in Philadelphia range from an average low of 64°F to an average high of 818°F. Hats, cool clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen should be worn on bright, sunny days. Wear light-colored, cool clothing. Wear headgear for protection from the sun and use suntan lotion or sun block. It's also a good idea to bring a rain jacket or poncho.
The PGA of America is in direct communication with the Mobile Weather Team to receive reports of any threatening weather systems. Observe the leaderboards and thru-boards throughout the golf course for the "weather warning" signs (symbol above) that will appear if The PGA becomes aware of inclement weather moving into the area. When the signs appear, spectators are advised to take precautions and seek shelter PRIOR to play being suspended. If the siren (air horns) sound, put down your umbrella and seek shelter immediately. The Alfred S. Bourne Trophy presentation ceremony takes place Sunday, June 8, on the #18 green, immediately following the close of play. NOTE: In the event of a tie for first place after 72 holes, there will be a sudden death play-off beginning on hole #18.
The 64th Senior PGA Championship-logo merchandise is available in the Golf Shop, located at the Main Gate. The Golf Shop opens at 7:00 a.m. each day and closes 15 minutes prior to gate closing. Travelers' checks, credit cards, debit cards and cash are accepted in the Golf Shop. An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) will be located inside the Golf Shop.
The Golf Shop features apparel and memorabilia by Ashworth, Cutter & Buck, Gear For Sports, Ahead Headgear, Spalding and Golf Design.
Located in the corporate village in close proximity to the 18th Hole, these chalets are privately owned and catered for the week of the Championship. Access to the village is restricted to individuals having the correct daily hospitality chalet ticket.
Located in close proximity to the Clubhouse, the Champions Club caters to companies who have purchased their own individual table within the Club. Access to the Champions Club is restricted to individuals having the correct daily Champions Club ticket.
Located behind the Clubhouse, the Trophy Club surrounds the Club's swimming pool and offers a festive atmosphere with concessions for purchase Monday through Sunday. Access is restricted to Trophy Club ticket holders, Hospitality Chalet ticket holders or Champions Club ticket holders.
Located in close proximity to the 18th Hole, the Aronimink Golf Club Clubhouse is open Monday through Sunday. Access to the Clubhouse is restricted to individuals having the correct daily Clubhouse Ticket. NOTE: Aronimink Golf Club members must have a Clubhouse Ticket in order to enter the clubhouse.
The Information/Lost and Found station is located at the Main Gate.
All lost children are taken to the Championship Office located near the Volunteer Headquarters and Aronimink Golf Club's tennis courts.
The First Aid Station can be easily identified by a Red Cross sign. It is located at the main gate. If the need for medical assistance should occur, please notify the nearest Championship Volunteer, who can be identified by their green golf shirts. Medical staff will be patrolling the course and ambulances will be on-site.

The following items are not permitted anywhere on the Aronimink Golf Club grounds and all bags will be searched upon entering the event:
Parking for ticketed patrons is available FREE OF CHARGE. Public Parking is located on Rt. 252 at the St. Davids Road exit, approximately 1 mile from Aronimink Golf Club in the Township of Newtown Square. Continuous COMPLIMENTARY shuttle bus service is provided between the Senior PGA Championship Main Gate and the spectator parking area during Championship hours.
The PGA of America will reserve parking in a designated parking lot for those patrons who are wheelchair bound. Wheelchair accessible shuttle buses will transport spectators to the Championship site from the wheelchair accessible lot. Please call (800) 742-8258 (press 1, then 3) to arrange access to this lot. There is no parking at Aronimink Golf Club.
