As an amateur, played on the 1973 Walker Cup Team. . .Played on the PGA Tour between 1975 and 1999. Has played in 420 events on that tour, winning five times and finishing in the top-10, 32 times. Was conditionally exempt for the 2002 Champions Tour season until last week after finishing 17th at the 2001 Champions Tour qualifying tournament. For the rest of the year, Edwards will be eligible as a past champion.
