Terry Dill recorded his second career hole-in-one and the fifth for a Champions Tour member this year by holing a 7-iron Thursday on the 172-yard, par-3 11th hole at Valhalla Golf Club. Dill preceded his momentous stroke by making a triple bogey-8 on the par-5 10th hole. He last made an ace in the 1999 Vantage Championship.
It was the first hole-in-one in a Senior PGA Championship since Gil Morgan made one during the second round in 2002 at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio.
