Fuzzy Zoeller

In 2002, became the 20th player in history to win the Senior PGA Championship in his first attempt. . The victory at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, also was Zoeller's first on the Champions Tour. The victory ended a victory drought of 15 years, 10 months and 27 days . . Competed on three Ryder Cup Teams (1979, '83 and '85). . . Plagued in 1995 with back problems, Zoeller had corrective surgery done at the end of that year.
